The inimitable atmosphere at Hotel Gambrinus inspires the activities of our professional guides. Although they are all quite different from one another, they have the following common requirements, which are fundamental for us: cordiality and helpfulness together with experience and an in-depth knowledge of the itineraries in the marvellous Romagna and Marche hinterland..

Luca, professional cyclist from 2005-2010, in Team Acqua e Sapone in the last 3 years, offers guests with more training all the expertise of a former professional who has trained on these roads for years.

Paolo, guide and singer, is Hotel Gambrinus’ feather in the cap for his pleasantness and reliability and perfect interpretation of his role as guide. We only have one question we always put to cyclists during lunches at farmhouses when Paolo performs with his guitar and truly surprising voice by improvising true musical happenings: is Paolo better as a guide or as a singer? Our guests have the difficult task of deciding!

Ivan, guide and…dancer. Over the years, Ivan - a historic figure at Hotel Gambrinus thanks to his pleasantness and cycling intelligence - has also become one of the hotel’s most expert guides. His flexibility allows him to guide groups at all levels – without neglecting his dancing profession. Evidently, the bicycle is good preparation for other sports …and artistic disciplines!!!

Roberto, MTB and “no hurry” (road) guide. Roberto has stood out for years among Hotel Gambrinus staff for his double role. Mountain bike enthusiast who rides about in the mountains for most of the year, Roberto is also the favourite guide for cycle holiday-makers who are not in a hurry and who want to take pictures of the scenery and get historic information on the medieval villages encountered.
